In Trinidad, waiting for my flight to school.

I'm having mixed feelings about returning to Grenada. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my three weeks at home, seeing familiar faces and satisfying indulgances, I wasn't really doing much. However, going back to scchool means days and weeks filled with stress, bad food, and no tv! I suppose you can't have it all.

On the bright side, I'm much more prepared for the upcoming term. BRING IT ON!

Sigh, I've succumb to Korean music.

I am officially a Flip-Flopper.  Hah.

Two Week Mark

That's right, folks, I've officially survived my first two weeks of medical school in Grenada.

How would I describe my time here? Hmmm....it's like being in hell, under the guise of paradise....yup, that's about right. Haha.

Okay, I'm exaggerating, but school is pretty tough. On the other hand though, Ive seen some amazing sights on this island. A few days ago, for the first time in my entire life, I saw a REAL rainbow stretch across the sky. That was pretty cool. Everyday I look out onto the beach, the clear blue water, and the blue sky and try to find peace from my studies and worries. Goats and cows on the side of the road are also common sights here (but they're not so amazing to look at).

I got some pictures for ya'll.

Here's the school, but you can't really see much.

And finally, a picture of my family and I at some famous lake in Grenada.

Till next time.

Edit: DAMN! It's been really THREE weeks. Sheesh, time flys.

Thailand, Guangzhou, Hong Kong

You'd think that after my month long trip to Thailand, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, I would write a page worth of stories and anecdotes. Unfortunately, I am quite a lazy blogger. I'm just gonna let the pictures do the talking.

I will say that I had a blast, and sad that I had to come back.  Living in Thailand was like being in another world. With my ice coffee every morning and a bowl of noodles at the stand from across the street, followed by a trip to the mall, I was beyond content.
